184th Regular Meeting

A very supportive meeting for our members!

The March meeting of Tottori Toastmasters was one for the books, with a great, supportive atmosphere and camaraderie shared by all in attendance. Many great topics were "articulated" during the meeting, beginning with three prepared speeches. Topics for the speeches ranged from new beginnings to old memories, and an excellent coaching session on vocal variety.

Table topics session was very enjoyable, with members tackling the challenging topic of "My new life as a..." Each participant did a great job of "Articulating" what it would be like to begin anew as a dog or a dolphin or even an ant.

Constructive feedback and suggestions were given during the evaluation sessions, and a positive atmosphere covered the entire meeting. And who doesn't love refreshments during break time?

Next meeting is scheduled for a special date, May 18, 2025 at Koreisha Fukushi Center at 2:00 PM. See you there!

3月の鳥取トーストマスターズの例会は、温かく支え合う雰囲気に包まれた、とても素晴らしい時間でした。参加した皆さんの間には強い仲間意識も感じられました。

例会ではまず3本の準備スピーチが行われ、「新しい始まり」や「懐かしい思い出」など、さまざまなテーマがはっきりとした言葉で語られました。また、声の表現力についての素晴らしいコーチングセッションもあり、勉強になる内容でした。

即興スピーチ（テーブルトピックス）の時間もとても楽しく、「もし自分が○○として新生活を始めたら？」というお題に挑戦しました。犬やイルカ、アリなど、ユニークな立場からのスピーチで、みなさん見事に自分の考えを表現していました。

スピーチ後の評価セッションでは、前向きな雰囲気の中で建設的なフィードバックやアドバイスがあり、とても学びの多い時間になりました。休憩中のお菓子タイムも、やっぱり嬉しいですね！

次回の例会は特別な日程で、2025年5月18日（日）午後2時から、高齢者福祉センターで開催されます。ぜひお越しください！
