Our First Meeting of the New Toastmasters Year! Welcoming a New Member and Returning Guests!
With the rainy season now behind us, the summer heat has truly arrived in Tottori. Our first Toastmasters meeting of the new year was just as warm and energetic, as we welcomed a new member and were delighted to see returning guests who have continued to visit our club.
This year, our club slogan is "Grow Beyond Yesterday." Together, we hope to build a club where every member can continue growing, one step at a time, while supporting one another throughout the journey.
The meeting featured three prepared speeches, including an inspiring Ice Breaker speech by one of our newest members. During the Table Topics session, participants responded to the theme, "What would you do if...?" Their creative imaginations led to a variety of unique, humorous, and thought-provoking impromptu speeches that everyone enjoyed.
Our next meeting will be a very special milestone—our 200th meeting! We are preparing a memorable program to celebrate the occasion. In addition, we are planning a joint meeting with other Toastmasters club in September. We would love to welcome you to these special events, so please come and join us!

年度最初の例会！新入会員とゲストも加わりました！
7月に入り梅雨も明け、本格的な夏を迎えた鳥取。今年度最初のトーストマスターズ例会は、新入会員をお迎えし、さらに継続してご参加いただいているゲストの方々も加わり、暑さに負けない熱気あふれる例会となりました。
今年度のクラブスローガンは 「Grow Beyond Yesterday（昨日の自分を超えて成長しよう）」。メンバー一人ひとりが昨日の自分を少しでも超えられるよう、お互いに支え合いながら、クラブ運営を進めていきたいと考えています。
準備スピーチは3本行われ、そのうち1本は新入会員によるアイスブレーカースピーチでした。テーブルトピックスでは「もし○○だったら、あなたは何をする？」をテーマに、参加者それぞれの豊かな発想が光る、ユニークで楽しい即興スピーチが数多く披露されました。
次回はいよいよ通算200回目の例会という大きな節目を迎えます。記念すべき例会となるよう、特別なプログラムを企画しています。また、9月には他クラブとのジョイント例会（合同例会）も予定しています。どちらも特別な例会となりますので、ぜひお気軽にご参加ください。皆さまのお越しを心よりお待ちしています！
