We Affirm You as You Are

This month's regular meeting was very fulfilling with four speeches including an ice breaker.

In particular, the speech about living harmony with stink bugs was a big hit. It's only in Tottori that you can hear speeches like this. The purpose of a speech varies, but all speeches are attractive. That is because speakers express their thoughts from the bottom of their heart. In Table Topics, we enjoyed speeches inspired by a beauty pageant’s final interview. Speakers were struggle with advanced topics, but we studied a lot!

今月はアイスブレーカーを含む４つのスピーチで、充実した例会になりました。特にカメムシとの共生？についてのスピーチは大盛況で、こんなスピーチが聴けるのも鳥取だからこそ。スピーチの目的はさまざまですが、自身で考えた言葉と伝え方で語られる内容はとても魅力的です。また、美人コンテストの決勝インタビューを模した即興スピーチでは、普段考えない上級なテーマに四苦八苦しながらも、かなり勉強になりました！

Exuberant Personality Gathered Together

Tottori TMC welcomed three new members this month, and the energy of the meeting is gradually increasing. We held a Pathways workshop, where we learned about the new Pathways and exchanged opinions with each other. In Table Topics, appointed speakers wearing eye masks delivered speeches about spring vegetables. Making full use of their senses of touch and smell, speakers guessed the vegetables they held. That fresh and exciting style was enjoyable.

今月は新入会員３名を迎えて、だんだんと例会のエネルギーが高まってきています。

例会では途中、Pathwaysワークショップと題し、新しいPathwaysの変更点について学び、お互いが意見交換をおこないました。またTable Topicsでは、春野菜をテーマに触覚と嗅覚をフル活用したスピーチに挑戦。目隠しの状態で、テーマの野菜を触って予測しスピーチをする新鮮なスタイルで楽しみました。

Meeting People Stimulates You Intellectually

The March regular meeting was full of activities, including an induction ceremony, singing, and speech practice. In the Table Topics session, we tried an interactive style speech, inspired by famous audition show. Speakers delivered speeches included specific anecdotes, regardless of whether they were good at the topic or not. Tottori TMC’s meeting is an oasis where you can be inspired and be as fresh as daisy.

3月例会は新メンバーの入会式に加え、歌あり、スピーチ練習ありで盛りだくさんでした。即興スピーチは、オーディションショーを参考にした相互形式のスタイルに挑戦。お題の得意、苦手関係なく、スピーカー独自の視点で具体的なエピソードを添えたスピーチが印象的でした。鳥取トーストマスターズの例会は、お互いが刺激を受け、元気をもらえるオアシスです！
